The locals call them “waternuts” but we’re used to calling it coconut water. Don’t walk around asking for coconut water because everyone will just look at you funny. LOL. 
Our friends gifted us with a bag full of spicy habaneros! I was so excited to get this batch of peppers. I came home and made hot sauce right away. Thanks so much guys for the peppers!!!!
My sweetheart husband surprised me with another bouquet of flowers. The daisies were really hearty. I trimmed the stems and changed the water every other day and it lasted about a week long!
My hair was in need of a trim badly. I hadn’t had a haircut since we left Washington and I knew I had tons of split ends. We did a bit of research and decided to go to Andres Olmos for haircuts. (more…)
Look at the Bird’s Eye View of Grenada. Sweet, huh? The waters are turquoise blue, the island is lush with greenery, and it’s just a beautiful sight.
We’re back in Grenada…things are slower around here. Not much of a crowd, quiet, and laid back. Just the way we like it! We caught this rainbow on the beach. What a beautiful sight.
Magens Bay in St. Thomas in absolutely breathtaking. It’s considered one of the top ten beaches in the world and there’s just no argument. Take a look for yourself.
We only had a 3 hour layover in Miami this time, instead of 7. Yah! Check out all the fish art they had at the airport. We’re back in the States, and it’s nice to be back.
We spent Friday in Guoyave, a small fishing town in Grenada. We were there for Fish Friday, a street festival where the locals set up tents along the road selling local Caribbean seafood. We stumbled onto the beach while the sun was setting. Views are stunning!
