Buck at Washington, PA Cemetery

Buck at Washington Cemetery

There he was. We rounded the corner at the Washington Cemetery and this buck was standing there with a doe. We rolled our windows down and enticed him with chopped apples. Organic ones, because deer need to eat pesticide free too. :)

Buck Getting Enticed With Apple Slices

Here we are trying to lure him closer with the apple slices. The buck is intrigued but the doe zooms away fast. We get him up to our window and he’s a happy camper. Eating apple slice after apple slice….

There were plenty of deer out that night. We got to see so many of them.

There were babies that were too scared to come up to the truck, but ate the apples when we threw them down.

Baby Doe

This was the third buck we saw that night. His antlers were furry like a reindeer.

Buck With Furry Antlers

This deer was brave enough to venture up to the truck to eat out of our hands.

Feeding Deer

We saw many different animals that night. Deer, rabbits, and geese were all out and about waiting for evening treats. It was a fun trip and I’m so glad that J’s parent’s took us out.
